At the beginning of the project, we tested a number of mood boards and early-stage sketches to receive feedback from a diverse population, including key stakeholders, students and faculty from across the different campuses. Once we ended up with a direction, we started extensively testing the new brand with the same audience. This involved, leading large public forums where we walked the audience through our process, and why we made the decisions we had made.
Design System & Component-Driven development
This was one of the first projects at HZDG that took a component based approach to the entire process. From the initial sketches, and brainstorming, through the wireframes, user interface design and front-end development, we built the experience to improve speed-to-market for all future pages on the site.
